Good morning List,

I have received several emails lately concerning the Oxford County Cemetery
HomePage. Most messages are regarding accessing certain cemeteries. Maybe
the fonts are too small but on the opening page in the top left hand corner
it reads: '8 Cemeteries are complete, in Dereham, North and South Norwich
Townships. 3 more are coming'. (actually, Marilyn is working on one of the
eight and it will be back up soon) Which means we are working very hard to
get the rest of cemeteries in Oxford County on-line.

There are volunteers working right now in East Nissouri, Zorra, Blandford,
Dereham and Norwich townships. Winter weather has hit most parts of Oxford
County dumping several inches snow and most volunteers will be in where it
is warm, waiting to get back at it when the weather warms up. Other hearty
souls will be out there until the ink in there pens is too frozen to work I
wish I could say when a certain cemetery will be up and running, but that
depends on the weather.

For those who are interested, the Springford Cemetery took two people 7
hours each to transcribe and recheck and one person another 30 hours to type
it up, make an index and make the 335 hyperlinks, to get it looking like it
does on the WebPage.
