Subject: [RAINY-RIVER] HOUGH (Pinewood)-Carriere, Laroque

Found this on the internet: believe it relates to William HOUGH and
Catherine CARRIERRE who settled beside the Rainy River in Pinewood, Ont.
(Free Grant Sept. 18, 1891).
I wouldn't be surprised to learn that somehow Hough or Carrierre was
"maybe??" related to either KEARNEY, WARD, TREAU or TILSON who also came at
that time and were all neighbours; but how was HOUGH related or
associated???
====================

Who is doing research on pioneer families in Sleeman and Pinewood at turn of
the century, and which families please!
