According to the marriage registration Jeannie J. Little was 22 when she
married William Scanes Howe in Cobden on June 1, 1887. That would have her
born 1864 or 1865. Jennet Lavina Little was not born until August 1871. I
believe that Jeannie J. Little who married William Howe is more likely Julia
Jane Little, daughter of James Little and Margaret Campbell. Julia Jane
Little is listed as age 7 at nest birthday in the 1871 census of Ross Twp.
which would have her born about 1864
