I belive Ann lived in Hamilton Corktown, born October 3, either 1839 or 1841
in Dublin Ireland, daughter of John. She allegedly married William, born
England. By 1865 she was living in Brantford, had two children, one 1865,
the daughter 1866. The 1871 census showed her as a widow, the children with
the correct first names, but she is listed as Agnes Stephens. I cannot find
a marriage in Hamilton or William's death in Brantford or burial there.
The three came to Detroit where they were members of the Episcopal Church.
This makes me think there was no marriage nor death. Love a little scancal,
as long as it is long ago. :-) Bummer, stuff started apparently before
start of civil registration.
Regards,
Joyce
