You can find and read some census transcripts on the Ontario Census
Project site http://www.rootsweb.com/~ongenpro/census/ .

Despite the Technical Difficulties notice, you can still check to see
which geographic areas have been completed and access those files.

If you don't find transcripts for your area of interest, be sure to
check again later.

The goal is to transcribe all years for all parts of the province.
The online information represents a lot of work behind the scenes.
