I am looking for information on the above names. I do not know when
Matthew MCDONALD came over from Ireland but he was born around 1813
poss. around Cork. In about 1843, in Williamstown, Glengarry Co., he
married Esther Espley McKay who had been married to Alexander CALDER.
(They had had 2 kids, Alex and William CALDER.) Esthers father was
William MCKAY, and her mother was Anne DINGWALL. Williamstown and
Lancaster are the main locations for these people. Matthew is listed as
a RC but all of his sons and his wife were aligned with the Masons. All
help appreciated.
