ARSENAULT - At the palliative care unit of the Prince County Hospital on
Friday, Nov. 30, 2007, of Charles James Arsenault, formerly of Middleton,
P.E. I., of 225 Linden Ave., Summerside, age 69 years. Beloved husband of
Sandra Faye Arsenault (nee Richards), dear brother of (Alex, deceased),
Carol Arsenault, Dorothy Jacobsen, Shirley Perry, (Melvin Jr), Debbie
Arsenault, (Louise) Terry MacTaggert, (Donald) Julie Anne Arsenault,
(Ronald) Pauline Arsenault, (Sheila) Alfred Arsenault, (Robert) Karen
Arsenault, (Beverley) George Paynter and (Frankie) Julie Arsenault. He is

Michael Arsenault. Charles was predeceased by his parents, Melvin John
and Mary Agnes (nee Murray) Arsenault, brother Alex Arsenault,
brothers-in-law David Jacobsen and Mosie Perry, father-in law John Henry
Richards. Resting at the Lawless Funeral Home, Kinkora, for visitation on
Monday, Dec. 3, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on
Tuesday, Dec.r 4 at St. Malachy’s, Kinkora at 10:30 a.m. Interment will
follow at the St. Malachy’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, as an
expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Bedeque Rink and P.E.I.
Hospice Association would be greatly appreciated.

MacCALLUM - The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on
Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, of Grace Eliza MacCallum of Andrews Lodge Summerside
and formerly of Borden-Carleton, aged 97 years. Wife of the late Avalah
MacCallum. Beloved mother of Lloyd (Millie) MacCallum, Summerside and
Pauline (Edwin) Walker, Travellers Rest. Loving grandmother of Sharon
(Victor) Howatt, Kim (Paul) Bonner, Pamela Jay, Vanessa (Tim) Hamming and
great grandmother of Joshua and Jacob Jay. Sister of Edmund (Elva), Norman
(Ireta) and Stanley (Norma) Thompson. She was born in North Tryon on Nov.
7, 1910, daughter of the late Gordon and Lena (MacDonald) Thompson, also
predeceased by grandson Rodney Avalah MacCallum, sisters Ella (Clifford)
Chappell, Olive (George) Darrach, brothers Max (Doris) and Albert (Evelyn)
Thompson. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation
on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Cape Traverse United
Church at 11 a.m. Interment in Tryon People’s Cemetery. If so desired
contributions may be made to Tryon People’s Cemetery Fund or the Cape
Traverse United Church.

CHISHOLM - The death occurred suddenly at her home in St. Eleanors, on
Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, of Maria Deborah Chisholm, formerly of O’Leary and
s’Hertogenbosch Holland, aged 80 years. Maria was born March 6, 1927 and
was a proud war bride to the late John Leslie Chisholm. Daughter of the
late Maria van Laarhoven and Herman Emos. Proud Momah to children Kenny
(Alice) Chisholm, Moncton, N.B.; Billy (Sharon) Chisholm, St. Nicholas;
John Chisholm, Cornwall; Mary (Norman) Campbell, Miscouche; Annie (Adrian)
Gaudet, Summerside; Georgie (Sheldon) Ballum, Sherbrooke; Leigh (Leita)
Chisholm, Cornwall; Marg Chisholm-Ramsay (Reuben) Ramsay, Summerside; and
by daughter-in-law Belinda Chisholm. Gramma and Oma to Janice (Jason)
Carter, David (Kristy) Chisholm, Charlene (Kevin) Hansen, John Chisholm
Jr., Jamie (Scott) Hicks, Terra (Doug) Perry, Scott Campbell, Geoffrey Jay
(Laurie Huntley), Shellilee Ballum (Jean Paul DesRosiers), Sarah Ballum,
Michael Poirier (Jenn Hogg), Maria Chisholm, Bradley Chisholm, Brian

Predeceased by her children Maria and Johny. Resting at the Moase Funeral
Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held on Monday at 2 p.m.
Interment in the West Devon United Church Cemetery. No visiting hours by

GAUDET - The death occurred suddenly as a result of an automotive accident
in Moncton, N.B., on Thursday, November 29th, 2007 of “Edwin” Louis Gaudet
of Moncton, N.B., and formerly of Bedeque P.E.I. , aged 69 years. Edwin
was born in Bedeque on April 18, 1938, to his late parents, Horace and
Mary Ellen (nee Arsenault) Gaudet. Edwin is survived by his friend
Jeanette, Moncton, his sister Ruby Gallant and his brother Albert both of
Charlottetown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides
his parents, Edwin was predeceased by his brothers Elmer, Walter, Ivan,
Frederick, and George, his sisters Lillian and Blanche and by his
step-brothers Austin and Leonard Avery and his grand-niece Alicia Gallant
(Nov. 20, 2007). Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd.,
Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Peter’s Church, Seven Mile Bay for
funeral mass at 2 p.m. (please note change of time). Visiting hours on
Sunday, 7-9 p.m. only. Interment to take place in the church cemetery.
Memorial donations in Edwin’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation

MacLEOD - Peacefully at the Western Hospital, Alberton, with his family by
his side on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, of Clinton Robert MacLeod of
Summerside in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Mildred (nee
Ramsay) MacLeod. Born June 21, 1924, he was the son of the late Wallace
and Rotha nee MacEachern MacLeod. He was a veteran of the Second World
War, having served with the West Nova Scotia Regiment and was a faithful
member of the Summerside Church of the Nazarene. Cherished father to Rev.
Blaine (Carol) MacLeod of Calgary, Alta., Rev. Wensell (Donna) MacLeod of
Windsor, N.S., Grenvell (Nancy) MacLeod of Brooklyn, P.E.I., Trudi (Ricky)
Steele of Barrie, Ont., Jackie (Teresa) MacLeod of Lothian, Maryland,
Susan MacLeod of Summerside, Melody (Bob) Oliver of Lloydminister Alta.
Loving grandfather to 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Dear
father-in-law to Wanda (Willie) Dunbar of Alma, P.E.I. Dear brother to
Sadie (Roy) Ramsay of Springhill, P.E.I. Herman (late Blanche) of
St.Eleanors, Julia (Clair) Dennis of Burlington, Ont. Victor (Audrey) of
Northam, Charles (Sylvia), of Sackville, N.S. He is also survived by
sisters-in-law Ina (late Eric) MacLennan and Ruth (late Wyman) Yeo, both
of Summerside. Clinton was predeceased by his wife Mildred and by his son

MUTTART - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing
of Harold F. Muttart, loving husband, father, grandfather and friend in
his 92nd year on Dec. 1, 2007, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside. Son
of the late Hedley and Mildred (nee Ferguson) Muttart and stepmother
Cecelia (nee Waugh) Muttart. Survived by his beloved wife of 64 years,
Norma (nee Small). Dear father of Lloyd (Pauline), Dawna (Wesley) Palmer,
Ralph (Valerie), Jean (Blair) and Sandra (Alan) Inman. Loving grandfather
of his 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Predeceased by five
sisters, Edna Lowther, Amanda Newsome, Evelyn Lord, Jennie Jardine, Arita
Annear and three brothers, John, George and Wallace and son-in-law David
Muttart. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, until Tuesday, Dec.
4, then to Cape Traverse United Church for funeral service at 2 p.m.
