Phillip D. Fontaine

Lebanon, Maine - Phillip D. Fontaine, 38, a former Lowell resident who was a
truck driver in Hudson, N.H., died Thursday morning, July 29, at his home in
Lebanon. He was the husband of Monica S. (McLaughlin) (Lysz) Fontaine.
He was born in Lawrence, Mass., on Aug. 8, 1965, son of Leo J. and Theresa
(Ball) Fontaine of Ocala, Fla. He received his education in the Lawrence
school system.
Mr. Fontaine worked as a truck driver for Superior Transportation in Hudson
for several years.
He enjoyed fishing, darts and shooting pool.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by a stepdaughter, Lucretia
Brayen and her husband Craig of Dover, N.H.; two stepsons, William J. Lysz
and Robert T. Lysz, both of Lowell; two stepgranddaughters, Lucretia Wolf
and Ainsley Brayen, both Dover, N.H.; his grandmother, Theresa Ball of
Lawrence, Mass.; a sister, Lorri Ricard of Lowell; three brothers, Leo Sorry
of Ocala, Fla., Jamie Walden, residing in California, and Michael Fontaine
of Lowell. He also leaves two godchildren, Kristine Abreu and Paige
Fontaine, both of Lowell; his godfather, Francis Goulet of Methuen, Mass.;
as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was also the father of the late Meghan E. Fontaine and Hayley M. O'Leary.
