ALARIE, Hubert David In loving memory of Hubert David Alarie, 68 years, who
passed away Monday, January 3rd, 2005 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St.
Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved father of Michel, Mark and Donald. Loving
father-in-law of Sherry, Jeannie and Lynn. Cherished Papa of Natasha,
Krysta, Johnny Ray, Jocelyne, Hunter, and Rainna. Dear son of Archie and
Phelanise Alarie both predeceased. Dear brother of Norman, Norbert, Leonard,
Julien, Donna, Olive, Camille and Ida. Sadly missed by many nieces and
nephews. Hubert was a loving and giving man, who had time for everyone. He
was an active volunteer in many organizations in the Sudbury area. Funeral

BOUCHER, Clarence In loving memory of Clarence Boucher, 73 years, who passed
away Tuesday morning, December 28th, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital -
St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved husband of Shirley of Sudbury. Loving
father of David (wife Sue), Wayne, Patricia Richards, Bruce (wife Barbara),
Brian (wife Janet) and Paula (all of Sudbury). Proud grandfather of John
(wife Tiffany), Pamela, David (predeceased), April, Derek, Cassandra,
Miranda, Kyle, Sarah (partner Dean), Gillian and Brianne. Cherished
great-grandfather of Maverick, John, Blake, and Michael. Dear son of Herman
and Jenny Boucher (both predeceased). Dear brother of Diane of Hamilton, and
Clayton, Laverne, Marvin and Doris (all predeceased). Sadly missed by

BROOKS, Alvina Mildred (Crawford) (Morin) (nee McPherson) In loving memory
of Alvina Mildred (Crawford) (Morin) Brooks (nee McPherson), 87 years, of
Sudbury, who passed away Saturday morning, January 1st, 2005 at the
Extendicare-York, Sudbury. She was born in Walford. A longtime Sudbury
resident, she had been a clerk at the Metropolitan and Zellers Stores for
many years retiring in 1982. An artistic person, she enjoyed craft work and
sewing. Alvina was devoted to her loving family. Beloved wife of George
Crawford, Leo Morin and Herb Brooks all predeceased. Loving mother of Eldon
Crawford (wife Stella) of Sudbury, Marvin "Gord" Crawford predeceased (wife
Simone of Sudbury) and Keith Morin (wife Lois) of Sudbury. Cherished
grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of
John and Louise (Morrison) McPherson predeceased. Dear sister of Clarence
McPherson, Dorothy Healy, Donelda Livingstone and Reta Bell all predeceased.
Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED

DESLOGES, Rene, Albert In loving memory of Rene Albert Desloges, 81 years of
Richard Lake, who passed away Friday morning December 31, 2004 at the
Sudbury Regional Hospital - Laurentian Site. He was born in Sudbury and
married Berthe (Daoust) in 1947 in Sudbury. A life resident of Richard Lake,
Rene was a retired INCO miner. A devout Roman Catholic, he belonged to St.
Mathieu's Church where he actively participated in its ministries and
projects, having served on the parish council for 6 years. Rene was devoted
to his loving family. Beloved husband of Berthe (Daoust) Desloges of
Sudbury. Loving father of Cecile Gervais (husband Ken) of Sudbury, Lorraine
Laamanen (husband Dave) of Calgary, Helene Basso (husband Mike) and Gloria
Prevost (husband Michel) both of Sudbury, Paulette Vineham (husband Terry)
of Ottawa and Donald Desloges (partner Gilles) of Sudbury. Cherished
grandfather of Jason, Daniel (wife Brigitte), Neil (fiancée Crystalle),
Earl, Lynne, Michael, Julie, Kyle and Jennifer, great-grandchild Danyelle.
Dear son of Osias and Laurence (Potvin) Desloges and stepmother Valeda
Desloges, all predeceased. Dear brother of Jeannette McGuire, Laurette
Frappier, Armand Desloges (wife Lucienne), Raymond Desloges (wife Rachel)
and Hervé Desloges (wife Angele) all of Sudbury, and Yvonne Leblanc (husband
Rolly) of Espanola. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at the

FRITH, Jean M. (Dionne) (nee Lawrence)

FRITH, Jean M. (Dionne) (nee Lawrence) In loving memory of Jean M. (Dionne)
Frith (nee Lawrence), 85 years, who passed away Tuesday, December 28th, 2004
at the Algoma Manor, Thessalon. Born in Cambridge, England she immigrated to
Canada living in Montreal moving to Hanmer in 1954. She resided in the
Sudbury area until this past February moving to Thessalon. A very
industrious person she owned and operated a boarding house for many years as
well as working at the Queen Hotel Restaurant, Kresges, and Canadian Tire
during her working years. A very active person she was quick to help others.
Her support and memberships in worthy causes included volunteering at the
Sudbury General Hospital, at the Inner City Home and as a pastoral visitor
at St. Patrick's Parish when she lived on Paris Street. She had been a
volunteer with the Kingsway Playground Association and a well respected
member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #564,
Lockerby, a member of the War Brides of Canada and the Sudbury Multicultural
Association. She had been a dedicated member of the Rebekah Lodge for over
30 years serving as a Noble Grand in 1986. A very artistic person she
enjoyed quilting and crafts. The light of Jean's life will continue to shine
in the hearts of her loving family and many friends. Beloved wife of Roger
Dionne (1967) and Archie Frith (1983) both predeceased. Loving mother of
Roger Dionne (wife Susan) of Windsor, Suzanne Dionne (husband Gilles
Paquette) of Iron Bridge, Monique Bourre (husband Bob) both predeceased,
Charles Dionne predeceased, Francis Dionne (wife Katia) of Sudbury, Shirley
Dionne (husband Ron Robidoux) of Aurora. Special mother-in-law to Marie
Lepage of Sudbury. Sadly missed by the Frith Family. Cherished grandmother
of Richard, Kevin, Louise, Christine, Michelle, Anne-Marie, Loran, Amy,
Penny, Stephen, Bob and Timothy; great-grandchildren Richard Jr., Taylor,
Ashley, Jennifer, Cody, Alex, Kyle, Connor, Ethan, Jacob, Charles, Joey,
Emma and William. Dear daughter of Charles Edward and Gertrude Lawrence

LEFEBVRE, Douglas In loving memory of Douglas Lefebvre, 71 years who passed
away Wednesday, December 22nd, 2004 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital -
Memorial Site. Beloved son of Joseph and Jane (Rees) Lefebvre both
predeceased. Loving brother of Corinne Hudac, Theresa Lammi, Bernice
Boudreau, predeceased by Leonard, Ronald , Fred and Richard. Sadly missed by
nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Born in Capreol, he worked as an
accountant at Elite Printers for many years. Douglas was very active in the
community, as a volunteer with Telecare, a member of the Minnow Lake Lions
Club, an honourary member of the member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch
427, Coniston, and as a Past Exaulted Ruler of the Elk Lodge #329, Sudbury
and Espanola Elks Lodge #346. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME,
233 Larch St. Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, Bancroft Dr., Monday,
December 27th, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Capreol Cemetery. Prayers

TESSIER, Rene Joseph

TESSIER, Rene Joseph In loving memory of Rene Joseph Tessier, 79 years, of
Valley East, who passed away Saturday morning, January 1st, 2005 at the
Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron. He was born in Warren and he married Marcelle
(Renaud) in 1945 in Toronto. A longtime resident of the Sudbury area having
lived many years in Val Therese, Rene had been a miner at Frood-Stobie Mine
having 37 years at INCO retiring in 1983. A proud Canadian he had served in
the Canadian Army during WWII. The family would like to express their
appreciation for the excellent care and support by the staff at the
Elizabeth Centre especially Station #1 main floor. Beloved husband of
Marcelle (Renaud) Tessier predeceased 1991. Loving father of Raymond of
Toronto, Robert (partner Lucie) and Pauline both of Sudbury and Roland (wife
Carol) of Newcastle. Cherished grandfather of Courtney, Kristan, Kayli,
Brittany and Justin. Dear brother of 16 brothers and sisters all
