Hi Carla

I'm sorry that I don't have access to a map that covers land descriptions
that are West of 1 meridian.

W1 meridian is mostly in Manitoba. W2 and W3 are in Saskatchewan.
W4 and W5 and part of W6 are in Alberta.

I have an Alberta map that I can do look-up on. There is a Saskatchewan
map on the internet that you can do look-ups on, but I don't know where to
get access to a Manitoba map that has townships and ranges.

I can give you a general idea, where your legal land description is.
Townships start at the Canadian border and run north, increasing by
1, every six miles. So, Township 11 would be about 70 miles north
of the border (11 x 6 miles + 4 miles to section 20).

Ranges run east to west, increasing by one, every six miles.
Township 11 Range 30 is in the Province of Saskatchewan, at the
Saskatchewan/Manitoba border. You would then work back from
Range 30 to Range 20 and that would put you about 60 miles into
Manitoba (30 - 20 = 10 X 6 miles)

The best that I can tell you is that from the southwest corner of
Manitoba, you would go north about 70 miles and east about 60
miles.

I hope this is of some help.

Shirley,

How do you figure this out? I have coordinates of SW 20-11-20-W1. Where
is this?

Thanks.
