I am forwarding a message from Bill Barry, authour of the People Places books:

A young fellow by the name of Craig Ruf of SIAST's New Media program recently completed a new website for the Saskatchewan War Memorial as a class project. Please check it out at www.saskwarmemorial.ca, I think he's done a heckuva job!

Note that the casualty list part of the site is still under construction. It will take probably another month to complete, but in the meantime I invite you to check out the site. Of course we would welcome any donations, but we are also keenly interested in information. If you are aware of any Sask boys who died in WWII, Korea or on peacekeeping duties, please make sure their names are on the list. If not, please get in touch.

And I invite you to check back with the site from time to time. We will be posting more info, and seeking your help in making sure that our Memorial, to be built on the Legislature grounds in 2005, is the best it can be.

Regards

Bill Barry
