I am re-sending this e-mail directly to the Board as ""
caused a delivery failure.

I am new to Genealogy and the Message Boards and a little confused.

When I started 2 months ago, I did not know about the Mailing List site
and since have subscribed to the most appropriate lists.

I have posted directly to a RW Message Board (ie Gelderland, Marion
County IA, etc.) and rec'd replies 2 different ways (one directly and
one via notification from the RW Message Board Administrator).

I read the instructions as to "not hitting the Reply button" (ie
submitting a Reply via the "Can-SK-l ..." address. Do I at least have
that part right?

I have a research background and will end up with eyestrain from trying
to connect the dots before asking questions. The SK Board shines over
others ~ having so many listers with such generosity of spirit. I'm
"stuck" in a few spots and I need help.

SO, Robin ~ (1) how do I post a new message and (2) is it similar to the
Message Board postings wherein once you post, you have to "Re" to create
a thread effect. I don't even know if that's the right question. I hope
you get the gist!
