I'm sorry I haven't done any research into Joe Hallson as I was interested in my side of the family since I knew absolutely nothing about them. Joe was very prominent in Kamsack and there may be some information at City Hall on him. They do have a picture of him hanging on there wall and they gave my a photo copy of it. He is buried in the Riverview Cemetery and I do have a picture of the headstone. From what I have heard both his son's became Doctor's but not sure where they practised. I have not looked at the 1901 or 1906 census but you may also get some information from there.
