Dear Ken; John Frederick Sachs from Donavon SK was my Grandpa.Charles, and Harry my great uncles. They were decendants of the Fred Sachs family that lived in Grey County, ON coming west in the early 1900's.. I have a copy of the Sachs family history that was passed along to me by a cousin in Saskatoon. It mainly focuses on the earlier generation that came over from Germany. There is one surviving son of John and Agnes Sachs living in Saskatoon, the youngest, my uncle Norman Sachs. My dad, Ralph Saxon, died in 1996, and his brother Roy Sachs died in 1995.Uncle Norman is in failing health now but his wife, Mary Sachs, may be able to help you. They have been married over 60 years. Also quite a few cousins live there. I also would welcome any information about the time when the family moved west. Also curious about your connection to the Sachs family.
