Subject: Post-1901 Census -- Several Things to do on a Long Weekend

To all:-
Many will be involved in family get-togethers on this Labout
Day weekend -- which means many getting together for
barbeques and picnics before the young ones head off to school.

This is an excellent time to print off Senate and House of
Commons petitions -- and Page 1 MUST be included. These
are downloadable at http://www/globalgenealogy.com/Census/
Addresses are given where these are to be mailed.

Feel in the mood for writing letters -- printed on coloured paper,
as white seems to be the official "Hill" colour. Check the following

Send a family reason for desiring the release of the 1911 census,
and there are many among us!

Many have GOLD ticks -- I have faith they have not changed
his or her mind. We need to contact the newcomers and any
letter writers are invited to use the questions on the scoreboard,
changed in his or her style of writing.

Should any be interested in becoming a Canada Census Committee
member, we need all the assistance we can get. Just send a memo
to me -- I will add you very quickly.

Reason for this? There are many mail lists in Canada but it is preferred
not to post all the "inter-office" memos on the mail lists -- but rather
among ourselves. Things are becoming more interesting -- and
as we know, Parliament does not open until October 4, 2004.

We need the petitions for support of the desire to have the unrestricted
release of the 1911 and later Canadian census records. There will be
a census bill later -- but it must be unrestrictive and only 92 years.

Postage is FREE -- even with large envelopes. Send letters to
