You could try writing to the Biggar Regional Library, General Delivery Biggar, Saskatchewan, Canada S0K 0M0 As they have many Biggar and District History Books with family names in them. Biggar is a town of 2700 people, You could check with the Saskatchewan Archives at the University of Saskatchewan, Saskatoon Campus, www.saskarchives.com, and they could give you the Rural Municipality that Biggar is in. Then look up the Census Records. I do not believe that there is a 1906 Census, 1901 is the last census released in Canada, we have been working hard to get the 1911 Census released. The 1901 Census is at the LDS Library. I have family from Biggar and will as them if they know any Sheppards, There was a family of Sheppards that ran the Theatre in Biggar. You could also Inquire at the Town Office, They still have records of Births there.
