It was so great when I logged on and found your reply to my query. I just posted it yesterday afternoon and to get a reply so soon after was so surprising. Thank you so much.

Within the information of Joseph Samletzi's bio, it said he came from Marienburg and he had a sister named Lena. So, it looks like my Samletzki sisters could have been cousins, not brother and sister like I was hoping. However, if I could get in touch with descendants, there still could be information to be learned.

You also inclued a page number for Louis & Violet Samletzki
in Memory Lane....is there a web site, as I don't where to find this info.

which mentions granparents leaving Marienburg, Germany in 1882 and settling in Beatrice, Nebraska where Louis Samletzki was born before homesteading NW of Rosthern.

I found the Rosthrn book very interesting, besides the info on the Samletzkis; which I have printed.
