I want to thank Senator Milne, Jeff Paul, Gordon Watts, Muriel Davidson
and many others for their hard work on bill S-13. What a shame their
effort was not rewarded with a more reasonable bill.
I am afraid that without the amendment to opt-out, instead of opt-in,
future census information will be lost forever. This is a tragedy from
which Canadians will never recover. The more I think about this. The
worse I feel. Gordon asked that we not make our comments personal, so I
guess what I feel about Fellegi will have to be kept to myself.
I urge everyone when completing all future census forms to make digital
and printed copies of them for your descendents.
I am sorry the tone of this email is so negative, but I am just beside
myself. I am so angry I could scream.
Thank you all again for your efforts.
Glenn
