To all:-

Should Bill S-13 ever reach the Second Reading stage, let's
be prepared by letting the committee members know how we
feel. Let all know WE do not desire ANY restrictions -- but the
1911 census, when released, should be in the same format as
the 1906 one released January 24, 2003.

Just in case anyone wants to know -- the microfiche is already
in preparation -- as is the electronic version -- a few buttons to
push and we can go "surfing".

The committee members to debate the good and evil of S-13 are:

CHAIRMAN:
Walt Latewska [ON]

VICE CHAIRS:
Dan McTeague [ON]
James Rajotte [AB]

MEMBERS:
André Bachand [PQ]
Larry Bagnell [YK]
Paul Crete [PQ]
Brian Fitzpatrick [SK]
Cheryl Gallant [ON]
Jocelyne Girard-Bujold [PQ] ?
Serge Marcil [PQ] ?
Brian Masse [ON]
Hon. Gilbert Normand [PQ] F
Andy Savoy [NB]
Brent St.Denis [ON]
Paddy Torsney [ON]
Joseph Volpe [ON]

To check on political parties (if you like), also standings, go to
http://www.globalgenealogy.com/Census/Index6.htm

Before YOU write to any of above, click on his or her name at the
left -- you might find the person agreed to support census release
in 2000 or 2001 -- before (the author) dreamed of Bill S-13.

Should you wish to make comparisons with Bill S-12 and C-312,
http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~downhome/post1901census.htm
Scroll down to Senator Lorna Milne's name -- it will provide reading
for a long period.

Any Christmas card envelopes kicking around -- bright red?
Those are the ones to use -- the same letter will do for all, only
keep changing the name of the person and mail to
House of Commons

Any replies? Gordon loves to keep busy posting letters and replies.
He might even provide the correct and full name of the committee.
