Hello,

I was wondering, do all Senator's have a policy
advisor? In the case of Bill S-13 what role would
an advisor play?

I ask because it seems the general policy on Bill
S-13 from the get-go was to ignore every report,
petition, letter and all evidence that didn't
jive with the wishes of the Privacy Commissioner
or Chief Statistician. All Liberal MPs and
Senator's would be obliged to vote accordingly,
no dissent allowed. No meaningful discussion
would take place in committee.

I'm just curious about what an advisor is
supposed to advise on in a case where everything
seems to have been pre-determined.

Bye for now,

Joe
