Hi Judith:
The marriage repertory omitted the names of Jeremie's parents names. They were probably omitted from the actual church record. I will have a look at the microfilm when I get an opportunity.
The Gentilly' smarriage repertory shows 4 children of Jeremie and Victoire Mailhot:
Eloi M (Married) in 1840
Narcisse M in 1842
Olive M in 1840
Victor M 1860
I assume that you do have this info and spouses names; if you do not I could provide it to you.
I have looked at the list of German mercenaries and Lebleu or Beu is not one of them. Jeremie's father must have come to Québec under other circumstances. I will try to find traces of him prior to 1800 in our exceptional database (PRDH).
Jean-Marie
