Obituaries (05/25/03)
ERDMAN Louis Edward born in White Star, Saskatchewan, June 13, 1937, passed
away May 23, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He leaves
behind, and will watch over; his loving wife, Judy, children Diana [Jerome],
David [Leslie], Dale [Jade]; grandchildren Chantelle, Bryan, Andrea E.,
Andrea T., Brandon, Samantha, Emma, and Maia. He will also be greatly missed
by his siblings Denise [George], Fran [Keith], Audrey, Leon [Sandra], and
Susan [Harold] and their families; and mother and father in law [Bette and
George], sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Gerhard, and nephew Ryan; and
so many special friends, and his buddy, Polar. Lou loved life and taught us
all so much about how to live and enjoy it. He will be greatly missed and
always remembered. A sincere thank you for the wonderful support and care
given to Lou and his family by the doctors and nurses over the years.
Special thanks to Dr. Giles, Dr. Wass, and Dr. Macpherson. No service by
Lou's request. There will be a gathering and celebration of life at the
family home on Thursday, May 29, 2003, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
donations in Lou's name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 204-780
Tolmie Avenue, Victoria, B.C., V8X 3W4.
