RECOLLET-MEJAKI, Karen Claudette Nellie Summer Moon Woman, September 25th,
1979 - February 20th, 2005. Died at her home on Sunday February 20th, 2005
surrounded by her family. Karen enjoyed walking in the outdoors hunting,
fishing and camping. She was the hockey trainer and manager of the
Wikwemikong Novice Hawks Hockey Team. Survived by her loving husband Walter
Mejaki and sons Daniel and Jonas. Also survived by her loving parents Kwa
Doe and Dwight Recollet, brothers Wayne and Adam and sister Joanna (fiancé
Casey) all of Wikwemikong. Predeceased by one brother Dwight Jr. Dear
daughter-in-law of Urban and Marina Mejaki. Sister-in-law of Merlin
Eshkakogan of Sagamok, Khrista (friend Chad), Lori (husband Peter) and
Lanell. Loving aunt of Tyler, Tasheena, Samson, Avery, Sheldon, Joseph,
Jacki, Ethan, Aiden, Megan, Nikita and Austin. Special Cousin and close
friend of Bernice and Robert. Karen leaves behind many aunts, uncles and
cousins who loved her. Resting at St. Anthony Daniel Church, Kaboni, ON.

VITALI, Gerald Edward "Jerry" In loving memory of Gerald Edward "Jerry"
Vitali, 58 years of Sudbury who passed away Saturday, February 19th, 2005 at
the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Center. He was born in
Sudbury. Jerry's life was service to others. He began this service as an
army cadet and then went on to serve as a Commanding Officer of the Sudbury
Army Cadet Corp reaching the rank of Lt. Colonel. As an OPP officer he
continued his service to the people of our province by caring for our youth
and adults alike by coaching, teaching and leading. He will always be
remembered as a concerned and generous man always there for anyone who may
have needed him. Sadly missed by Madèleine (Coulombe) Vitali of Sudbury.
Loving father of Christopher of Sudbury. Beloved son of Armando and Eva
(Belanger) Vitali predeceased. Loving brother of Robert (wife Doris) of
Sudbury, Ron (wife Aline) both predeceased, Doug (wife Germaine) of Wasaga
Beach, Ed (partner Patricia) of Sudbury and Doreen predeceased. Fondly

KENNEDY, Helen Josephine (Holler) In loving memory of Helen Josephine
(Holler) Kennedy, 84 years, who passed away Monday, February 21st, 2005 at
the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Centre. Beloved wife of
Duncan Kennedy predeceased 1998. Loving mother of Larry of Sudbury, Bruce of
Sturgeon Falls, predeceased by Robert "Casper". Cherished grandmother of
Laura (husband Al Kuzenko) of Garson, Shannon Kennedy (fiance Brad) of
Cambridge, Steve Kennedy (fiancee Mandy) of Barrie and great-grandchildren
Mathew and Megan. Dear daughter of Casper and Janet Holler both predeceased.
Born in Hearst, she and Duncan owned and operated Kennedy's Esso in Verner
for many years. She was an active member of the Sturgeon Falls United
Church. Helen was a Past Noble Grand of Pinecrest Rebekah Lodge #264, she
was a member since 1953. She devoted her life to her family. Funeral Service

MacMILLAN, Myrle "Wimpy" In loving memory of Myrle "Wimpy" MacMillan, 71
years. It is with deepest sadness that the family announces the sudden death
of Myrle "Wimpy" MacMillan in Florida. Beloved husband of 46 years to
Patricia (nee Cooney) of Garson. Proud father of James (wife Doris), George
(wife Angela) all of Garson and Ramona (husband Silvio Orsini) of Sudbury.
Loving Papa to Melissa, Alex, Shannon, Jillian and Delia. Beloved son of the
late Ida and James Alexander both predeceased. Dear brother of the late
Lionel MacMillan (Ethel), Patricia Nolan (Paul), Betty-Ann Dixon (Bob) and
Heather Furlani (Ray). Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and
cherished family friend Jean Grignon. Special brother-in-law of Iona
Peterson (late Nels), Meldrum Cooney (late Beulah), friend Lorraine and
Melvin Cooney (Patti). Born in Falconbridge in 1933, he was employed with
Falconbridge Limited as a heavy-duty mechanic for 36 years retiring in 1986.
Myrle was a life long member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #336. He
treasured his times at Wahnapitae Lake and Manitoulin Island with family and
friends and his afternoons at the "office". He will forever be remembered

passed away Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005 at the Extendicare York after a
long, courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Lillian (Chretien)

Special grandfather of Keith and Kris. Loving son of Alfred William and

BARRY, Leslie Frederick Peacefully at his residence surrounded by his
family, Saturday, February 19th, 2005, in his 63rd year. Dear son of Fred
and Mary (née Casper) Barry, both predeceased. Dear son-in-law of Maria
Lauzon. Beloved husband of Angele (née Lauzon) Barry. Dear father of
Catherine (husband Mark) Leadbeater of Sudbury, Cynthia Fuller (partner
Jasper) of Barrie and Stephanie Barry of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by his
grandchildren Ashley, Daylen and McKenna. Predeceased by his sister
AnnaBelle Hutchinson. Dear uncle of Cheryl Azulay and Brian Hutchinson. Also
remembered by numerous cousins. Dear brother-in-law of Simone Proulx
(husband Robert), Richard Lauzon (wife Shirley) and Susan Coupal (husband
Eddie). Born and raised in Pickerel, Ontario, he was a retired diesel
mechanic with Inco Limited, having 38 years of service. Mr. Barry was a
member of the Inco Quarter Century Club. An avid outdoorsman, he thoroughly
enjoyed his cottage on the Pickerel River and especially riding his
"Sea-Doo" on the Pickerel River. He will be sadly missed by his canine pal
and friend, "Misty-Too". At Mr. Barry's request there will be no visitation
or service. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Cremation.

PETERS, William David With sorrow our family announces the death of William
David Peters on Friday February 18, 2005 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband
of Gisela. Loving father of Robert and his wife Sandra and David and his
wife Helen. Proud grandfather of Madeleine, Olivia, William and Sydney. Dear
brother of Robert (predeceased) and John and his wife Doreen. Dear uncle of
Dean and his fiancée Carole, David and his wife Helen and Laura and her
husband Robert and 4 great nieces and 3 great nephews. Born in Scotland
March 25, 1922, William came to Canada at the age of seven with his parents
George and Elizabeth. A decorated veteran of World War II, William served as
a Flying Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1942-1945. During
that time he served with the No. 158 Squadron of the Royal Air Force
stationed in Lissett Yorkshire where he completed a tour of operations in
the famous bomber "Friday the 13th". In September 1945, William was awarded
the Distinguished Flying Cross for great gallantry in performance of his
duty. William will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all his
family. A private service will be held on Thursday February 24, 2005 at
Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto. If desired, memorial donations may be made
in lieu of flowers to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. - 2/23/2005 -
MACDONALD, Mary Katherine At the Montford Hospital, Ottawa on Saturday
February 19, 2005. Mary MacDonald age 91 years. Beloved wife of the late
Ronald John MacDonald. Loving mother of Ronald MacDonald Jr. of Saskatoon,
Saskatchewan, Gwynne MacDonald of Edmonton, Alberta and Hugh MacDonald and
his wife Cathy of Deep River. Cherished grandmother of Patrick, Michael,
Krista, and Lindsay MacDonald and Katie (Mrs. Dave Gunston). Dear sister of
Dorothy MacPherson of Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Also survived by a
sister-in-law Elizabeth Chisholm of Nova Scotia. By request there will be no
