HUANG, Sharon (8 Years) Our special Angel left us on 12 October 2007 after a
year long courageous struggle with HLH. She first became ill in October of
2006 and was treated for many months at Vancouver Children's Hospital
receiving a bone marrow transplant in August 2007. She spent the last three
weeks in ICU and was transferred to Victoria General Hospital to be close to
the family for her final days. Our prayers and her strong fighting spirit
were not enough to overcome this rare blood disorder. Sharon was born on the
10 March 1999 in Taipei, Taiwan and immigrated, with her parents to Canada
in 2000; first living in Vancouver and then moving to Victoria in 2001.
Sharon attended Kindergarten and Grade 1 at Gordon Head Elementary and moved
to Torquay Elementary for Grade 2 and 3. She is lovingly remembered by her
parents, Steven and Sylvia; her brother, Alex; grandparents, James and Jodi
Huang, John and Theresa Chang of Victoria; Uncle Henry Chang of New Jersey
and many other relatives in Myanmar, Taiwan and USA. A special thank you to
Mrs Maureen Wood, her teacher, who remembers Sharon as a wonderful child,
excellent student, hardworking, focused, quiet and fun loving. She will be
sadly missed by all her classmates at Torquay Elementary School, especially
her very best friend Alyssa Mar. Special thanks to friends who gave us help
and warmth during her illness and after her death. The family has great
praise for Dr. Dix and all the special doctors, nurses and staff of ICU, 3B
Oncology, Hematology, ICU and Bone Marrow Transplant Team at BC Children's
Hospital and the Children's Unit at Victoria General Hospital. Thank You all
for the Herculean effort and all the support you have given us in the past
year. A special thank for friends who gave us a warmth while she was ill. A
funeral Service will be held a Sequoia Gardens Memorial, 4665 Falaise Drive
on Friday the 19th October 2007 at 2:00 pm followed by interment at Royal
Oak Burial Park. A reception will be held following the interment. In lieu

WATSON, Lloyd William Born July 3, 1958, passed suddenly on Oct. 13, 2007.
Predeceased by his father Ozzie, he will be missed more than words can
express and fondly remembered for his sense of humor, his smart mouth and
need to tease and torment those he loved. As an employee of Telus for 28
years he always found the time for the things he enjoyed, loved and cared
about most which were his family, friends, fishing, camping, sports,
coaching lacrosse, music "with instruments", having the last word and ALWAYS
being right. Left to cherish their special memories of him are his loving
wife of 26 years Lori, daughter Tara (Jeremy), son Lance and two precious
granddaughters Payton and Kiah, aka "the Brats". He also leaves mother Donna
(Vern), sisters Debbie (Ted) and Patti (Blair), brother Rob, in-laws
