LUUKKONEN, Archie W. Retired R.C.A.F. 25 years Service: Veteran W.W.II
& Peacetime. Archie was born at Birsay, Saskatchewan, August 27, 1916.
He passed away peacefully & beautifully cared for at The Lodge at
Broadmead, Victoria, British Columbia, January 25, 2008. Archie and
Grace were married February 15, 1947. Archie is survived by his loving
wife, Grace; Daughters: Sheila (Vern) Rozee, Sharon Miller, Karen
(Ted) Gall; Grandchildren: Laura Dickson (Fiance, Nick Corcoran),
Jennifer Dickson, David Bacon, Allyson, Sophya, & Olivya Miller.
Predeceased by Granddaughter, Sarah Dickson & Great-grandson Austin
Dickson-Phelan. Funeral Service will be conducted by the Reverend Don
Crawford from SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive, on
Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at
Royal Oak Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations would be
appreciated to The Lodge at Broadmead Foundation, 4579 Chatterton Way,
Victoria, BC V8X 4Y7. Condolences may be offered to the family at
