ANGELINI TinaPeacefully passed away, April 10th, 2009. Predeceased by
her husband Silvano Angelini. Surrounded by her family, daughter
Clara, son Ron, daughter-in-law Bonnie, and her grandchildren Mark
(Ale), Paul (Louise), Lisa (Jordan), and Jordan, Morgan, Bianca and
Joseph. She will be greatly missed and her loving spirit will stay
with us forever. Service will be held April 17th at Burquitlam Funeral

CARNEY Shirley Margaret (nee Macdonald) Born on March 4, 1925, Mom
passed away peacefully on April 7, 2009 surrounded by her family. She
will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bernard, sister Carol (Stan
Morrison), sister-in-law Sr. Josephine Carney; her children Terry
(Judy), Monica (Michael), Shirley Anne, Michael (Vickee), Mary and
Robert (Allison); her grand-children, Jamie, Jennie and Kevin (Derek,
Jessica and Barry), Mikey, Leilani, Aaron, Sam and Prince (William and
Matthew), Curtis and Christopher and great-granddaughter Skyler. She
is also remembered by her family back East, Don, Kie, Kimberly and
David Morrison; Kathy, Bill, Liam and Aislyn O'Shaughnessy, Ted and
Alan Morrison. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 16th and 6:30

87 years after a recent stroke. Renee will be deeply missed and

FISHER Jonathan Andrew Harrold in loving memory. Jonathan passed away
suddenly, March 29, 2009 in his sleep at the age of 26 years old in
New West. Born in Vancouver to parents Penny and Warren Fisher. He is

GEGGIE Ian Martin July 12, 1933 - April 8, 2009 It is with sincere
sadness that Ian's passing at Haven Hill Retirement Centre in
Penticton is announced. He is survived by Donna Geggie, the mother of
his children; daughters, Cindy (Brent) Ther and Andrea (David) Kinnin;
son, Colin Geggie; grandchildren, Brock, Carly, Chelsea and Rylan.
Also, saddened is his long time companion, Diana Wheeler; brother, Don
(Val) and nieces, Linda (Ben) Geggie-Bowker and Lisa (Ken) Robinson.
Ian chose the teaching profession and spent most of his working life
in the Burnaby school system. A Celebration of Life will be held in

GOOD Douglas CameronBorn in Montreal, Quebec on January 29, 1925, Doug
passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2009 with his son David
at his side. Predeceased by his loving wife Eleanor, Doug is survived
by sons David and Cameron, Eleanor`s children Debbie Sogen (Larry),
Paddy O`Rourke and Tim O`Rourke (Carrie), and grandchildren Carlissa,
Kelsea, Brooke, Alex, Sam, Ana, Max, Gabe, Murray, Carly, Stacey,
Bradley, Jennifer, Andrew, Haylie and Rylee. Doug was born and raised
in Montreal. He joined the RCAF where he served as an Air Gunner
during WWII. After the war, Doug spent many years with the railway and
later worked on the design of alarm and fire suppression systems. Doug
moved his family to the West Coast in the mid 1970s where he later met
and married Eleanor. Doug and Eleanor settled in Cloverdale in the
early 1980s, where they lived until Eleanor`s death in May 2007. Doug
was lost without her. He suffered a serious stroke a year later and
had started the road to recovery when he suffered a final stroke in
early April of this year. Doug's unique sense of humour will be missed
by all. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian
Legion Branch No. 6, 17567 - 57 Avenue, Cloverdale, BC on Saturday,
April 18, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug's memory
to the Kinsman Place Lodge in Surrey, BC would be appreciated. "Pepsi,

GORSE Kathleen (Kathy)Kathleen Gorse of Summerland, BC, went to be
with the Lord on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at the age of 74. Survived
by her loving family, children: Denise (Michael) Grieve of Port Moody,
Colin (Debbie) Gorse of Coquitlam, Rebecca "Becky" (Tyvan) Schneider
of Calgary. 7 grandchildren. Brother and sisters: Ted (Marina)
Reynolds of Salmon Arm, Phyllis Spencer of Salmon Arm. Sadly
predeceased by her husband Fred, son Geordie, sister Jean Huseby, and
her parents George and Janet Reynolds. Kathy was a homemaker who loved
being a Mom. She was well known to her friends in Summerland for her
hospitality to her fellow Shut Ins at the Extended Care Unit and her
love of the Lord. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April
18, 2009, at 2:00pm from Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14644 - 72

KESKI-HYNNILA Eino Armas June 2, 1928 - April 11, 2009 It is with
great sorrow that we announce the passing of Eino Keski-Hynnila who
passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 11, at Bailey House,
Ridge Meadows Hospital. Eino will be sadly missed by his sons Jouko
(Rosa), Donald (Terri) daughter Shirley (Rick), grandsons Kevin and
Kyle, and granddaughters Liisa, Leina, and Krista, and also Eila
Keski-Hynnila. Eino is also survived by his brothers, sisters, many
nieces, nephews, relatives and friends in Finland. Eino will be
especially missed by his family and by his many friends in the
hospital community for his sense of humour, positive outlook and joy
for living despite the many hardships he had to face during his 46+
years coping with Multiple Sclerosis. Sincere thanks to the staff of
Ridge Meadows Hospital for their providing care and companionship for
our father and for making the extended care a comfortable home for him
for over 35 years. Memorial service will be held at First Memorial

at the Elim Village for the past 3 years. She is survived by 5

2009. Lorne was born in Vancouver, BC March 16, 1924. He was
predeceased by his wife Lolita, son Keith, sister Esther Oke and his

PARKINSON William (Bill, Parky) Henry Bennett August 30, 1918 - April
11, 2009 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our
much loved father, who left us too suddenly on April 11th. He was a
loving, gentle man to whom family meant everything. Dad was a
successful business man who with our mother started Parkinson's
heating in Surrey, B.C. A business which still bears his name today.
Dad was successful in many endeavours but he counted his successes in
different ways...having been a loving husband to his wife Elizabeth
Parkinson (nee Larmour) who predeceased him in 1995 and who he
continued to mourn until the day he passed away, and a fantastic
father/grandfather to his children, grandchildren and
great-grandchildren: Dianne (Keith), Ken (Janet), Bill Jr. (Jennifer),
Rosemary (David), Cyndie, Kevin (Kandaas), Shauna (Garry),
grandchildren: Shawn, Devynn, Alia, Katelyn (Ben), Morghan, Alexander,
David, Kameron, Mackenzie, Daniel, Jessica, Ashley, Danielle,
great-grandchildren: Damon, Hannah-Marie and extended family and

away peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital. He is survived by his brothers
and sisters, Ferdinand "David" Nahanee, Glen Peter Newman (Marlene
Roberts), William J. "Bill" Paull, John Bennett Paull, Mary Glendora
"Diane" Paull, Rene "Rena" Marie Purjue, Jolene Paull (Darcy Joseph),
Dana Kathleen Carpenter (Charlie Baker), Patricia Rose Paull and
Elizabeth Lana "Vanessa" Campbell (Jimmy "JJ" Jacobs). Stepchildren,
Gary Strange, Holly Strange and Nicole Mellisa "Missy" Paull. Uncles
Elmer Joseph Paull, Jack Lewis (Cherry) and Robert "Bobby" George.
Aunts Audrey Rivers, Julianne "Julie" Lewis, Rose Thomas, Marie
George, Ann Thomas and Irene Alex. Peter's legacy was his commitment
and unconditional love for his many nieces and nephews. He cherished
family gatherings for all special holidays and most of all family
birthdays. Peter made many new friendships at the Lynn Valley Care
Centre this past year and he will be dearly missed by all. The Paull
family would like to thank the staff at the Lynn Valley Care Centre
and Squamish Nation Health Department Home Care Services for providing
quality care. He will be dearly missed by many loving relatives and

ROCKWELL EDNA IRENE In Loving Memory Edna Irene Rockwell, 83, passed
away peacefully in her sleep on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009, at her
home in Langley, BC. Edna (nee Parkinson) was born September 25, 1925,
in Nipiwan, SK. She married Charles Kelven Rockwell and moved to BC
shortly thereafter where she raised her five children. She enjoyed
spending time with her family and her favourite pastimes were cooking
and baking, gardening, reading, visiting with friends and doing
crafts. She also enjoyed the socializing and entertainment at the
Renaissance Retirement Residence, her home for the past two years. Her
children wrote: "Mom's generosity, sense of humor and kind heart were
obvious to all who knew her. She was a wonderful woman who loved her
children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed life
itself". She is lovingly remembered by her son John and wife Dona;
daughter Marlene; son Kelven and wife Sandra; son Bud; son Brian and
wife Raigen. She also cherished her four grandchildren and two
great-grandsons. She is survived by her sister Myrtle Arnst, who
enjoyed many phone conversations over the years. Funeral service will

ROOKE Grace Heather Robertson December 31, 1944 - April 11,
2009Beloved Wife, Mom, Nana, Sister and Friend passed away peacefully,
Saturday, April 11, 2009 with her devoted, loving Ronnie by her side.
She left a family that she loved with all her heart, daughters Heather
Martin (Vince), Sharilyn McDonald (Jeff), Jennifer Dalziel, Donna
Schalkx (Peter), grandsons, Tyler, Tanner, Trey, Darius, Nikolas,
Lukas, Campbell, Karlin, and Ben. Her passions included gardening,
quilting, stamping, and painting over the past 14 years living at
Pavilion Lake, BC. A large void will be felt in the ones who knew and

ROSS Murdo August 27, 1933 - April 12, 2009 It is with great sadness
we have to announce the passing of Murdo on April 12 at the Marjorie
Willoughby Snowden Hospice Home, Kamloops, B.C. surrounded by his
family. Murdo was a loving husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley, and his seven
children: Ron (Deb), Deanie (Paul), Wendy, John (Laura), Bob (Garby),
Bill (Joanne) and Terry (Russ), along with 26 grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren. You will be sadly missed by all of us, Dad! The
entire Ross family would like to thank all the staff at the Hospice
Home for their wonderful kindness and care of not only Murdo but the
entire clan. Also special thanks to Dr. Gorman and Dr. Waller. A
Celebration of Murdo's life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2009
at 1:00 p.m. in the Schoening Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry Sauder

peacefully, with her children by her side, on April 11, 2009 in
Richmond, B.C. She is predeceased by her husband, Chappy and is
survived by her two children, Leonard and Voni; her son-in-law Mike
Grindler; her sister Rosa Price; seven grandchildren Brian, Kevin
(Susan), Brad (Cathie), Lianne (Richard), Michelle (Blake), Elaine and
Danik (Veronique); fourteen great-grandchildren Patrick, Tina, Jeff,
Kelly, Jason, Jesse, Jonah, Brandon, Justin, Dylan, Mathew, Darren,
Raphael, Ysann, and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be
held at Sacred Heart Parish, 3900 Arthur Drive, Ladner, B.C. at 1:00
p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009 followed by a Graveside Service at
Boundary Bay Cemetery and a reception at the Coast Tsawwassen Inn. The
