Hello To All, could someone please point me in the right direction. I have been trying to find my KILBY people for several years, each clue has lead me to a dead end. Any information or advise on tracing my KILBY people will be appreciated. Here goes:

There were two spinster sisters by the name of KILBY living at 4762 The Highway West Vancouver BC also in Caulfield BC and 1261 Beach Avenue Vancouver BC. This would nave been in between the years 1930 to 1951, perhaps earlier.

The sisters owned or managed a hardware store in Vancouver and in 1938 asked my father who was living in England to come to Vancouver and manage the store so they could retire. WW2 started and my father joined The British Army. Again in 1948 to 1951 they asked again but my father chose to emigrate to Australia.

A lady from Canada sent me some KILBY Social Security names/deaths, I have downloaded the names of Female KILBY deaths in Vancouver 1938 to 1968, but none of the names check out on the IGI.

Can some kind person look up a Directory, Poll Book, Electoral Roll or old Phone Book for my KILBY ladies? It would certainly be much appreciated and I am willing to do some Australian research if required.

I will patiently wait for your welcome replies. Kind Regards from Anne in Australia.
