Does anyone know where there might have been a Lockport or Cullins, in
Canada, probably Welland County, in 1844? In different documents our
g-grandfather, Joseph Nelson Curerent, gave his birthplace to be Cullins,
Lockport, or Welland, Ontario. I know there is a Collins and Lockport New
York, but he was very specific about having been born in Canada. Could
Cullins have been a misinterpretation of "Crowland"? Was there ever a little
town on the canal, called Lockport? Would appreciate your input.
