Hi Listers,

I am currently researching the life of one of my relatives, Thomas Longstaff who emigrated to Canada from England just before the out break of the first world war. He subsequently joined the Canadian Army, 4th Battalion of the Canadian Infantry, 1st Central Ontario Regiment. We know that he served as a Sergeant with the regiment and fought in Belgium. He died in action in December 1915.

Can anyone tell me how I can access the military records of my ancestor, hopefully from England if at all possible.
