Some of the above same sound familiar to me--have I done them before ? A
lighter was a flat bottomed boat, which did not berth at a wharf, but from
which the goods were ferried to the canal wharf. The ones
above must have been having a party, if all those people were on board ! I
only put them in, in case they were of interest to anyone.
