Hi List,
Has anyone come across a Joseph Rowley born about 1849 not sure where, but may be Runcorn. The Manchester Ship Canal was mentioned. He did live in the Wombourne, Staffs area in the late 1800's and Dudley was also mentioned. I know there are Rowley's on the barges there are some in my family. I am trying to help someone who's only information came from a grandmother of 90. I just wondered with all these places close to the canals if there might be a connection.
