Hi everyone

one of the boat families I am researching is the Alford's. George Alford (born about 1840) worked the Grand Union Canal, I am told by family members his wife was Priscilla Bishop (1844) but I cannot find their marriage. My great gran was Susan Alford their daughter born in 1881 I cannot locate her birth. She married Mark Dorsett (bargeman) October 21 1900 both their fathers occupations bargeman. Her siblings were Richard, James, Annie, and Harry some of them also worked on the boats, as did most of her children into the 1940's-1950's. If anyone has any information on this family, most specifically on Geroge and Priscilla I would love to hear from them.
