Am researching HILL & EPPY (prounced "Ippy") families.

The HILL family lived on water and on land - up to 1870s in North Hyde & Norwood in West Middx, then 1870s through to c1900 on barges based at Paddington Basin & at various addresses alongside the wharf. After this, the HILL family were based in Kensal New Town as Alfred HILL became a waterside labourer.

The EPPY family members I have found to date have all been living in Paddington - initially living in North Wharf Road & nearby streets which were next to Paddington Basin (mid 1860s through to 1890s) & later in Dudley St to 1909.

If you are researching these surnames, please contact me. I have lots of info on both families. I am also in touch with another descendant of the EPPY family.

I am also interested in hearing from anyone else who is researching families linked to the Grand Junction or Grand Union Canals in London or Middlesex.
