Hi Marilyn,

I have one Alfred Hill b. abt. 1882 in my files married Elsie Bradbury in
1946 in Cannock. Bit of a long shot - but more interesting for me is that I
have families I'm researching associated with your same canal areas and
streets.

I have families at various times living at 3,14,15,35,36,38,40 & 44 North
Wharf Road

and

3,20 & 26 Dudley Street.

You might find some connections at www.stratfull.co.uk (use the search
engine onsite) - the site doesn't have all the address detail on it - too
much !

Let me know if you want more detail on any specific detail.

I'd be very interested in any connections you do find. and also any areas of
good reading you have found on the areas to increase my knowledge and
understanding, I'm interested in the history as well as the family history.
