Further to my previous postings of families on the 1901 census I now post
details of my main family interest the Ashcrofts who worked the canals for a
long time. I have been researching the family for some time and again would
welcome any connections.

Joseph Ashcroft aged 48
Wife Lucy (nee Jenkinson) aged 49
Sons Charles aged 15
James aged 11 all born Preston.

Canal boat Lancaster at Preston

Daniel aged 22
wife Alice aged 21 all from Preston
Son John aged 11 months
