Hello from Canada:

I have been trying the Derby and Lei lists - someone suggested I try the Canal People list but I am not sure what area that covers. Any help would be appreciated.

I am trying to trace my fathers family in England - he came to Canada in 1902 or 03 - he was born in Long Eaton and lived on the Manor farm. The last address we had was 116 Nottingham Road (I think). I have just come across an address for what could be the daughter of his brother, Mrs. T. Head, Inham Road, Bramcote Lane, Chilwell. I don't think she would be living but she may have had children that are in that area.

My grandfathers name was George Adams, married to Mary White, and after her death to Annie Musson. My father William Adams had two brothers, George and Ernest but they did not have sons so have no way of tracing family in that way. There were three sisters.
