Hi Bill,

as you may have noticed I have been doing lists of canal boatmen & allied
trades from the 1881 Census.

I realise that this is much too late for the purpose of finding Ann, but as
Gledhill is an uncommon name I looked on my database, and found only one
GLEDHILL. He may be a a grandson of your Ann , as his name was THOMAS. He
was with his wife. He was aged 24 in 1881 census. was born and lived in
Dukinfield,Cheshire at 13 St.John's Street Dukinfield.

It is not much to go on, but might possible give you a lead.

Regards Thelma
