The "WESTERN NEVADA COUNTY RESOURCE GUIDE for Genealogists, Historians, and other Researchers" written by the Historic Research Subcommittee of the Nevada County Sesquicentennial Committee and published by the Nevada County Genealogical Society is now available for purchase.

This resource guide includes an (1) Introduction which contains an explanation of the purpose of the guide, brief history of Nevada County, time line of historic firsts and significant events in county history, list of cities and towns, and hints for researchers. There are separate sections covering (2) county, city and federal government offices, (3) public libraries, (4) private libraries, (5) museums, (6) gold mines, (7) gold mining state parks, (8) churches, (9) cemeteries, (10) miscellaneous organizations and contacts, (11) out of county resources, (12) list of maps and photographs in the guide, and (13) an index.

This Guide tells you what is available and where in western Nevada County.

Cost: $12.00 (California residents add sales tax of $.88/copy).

Shipping outside of Nevada County: $3.20 per copy (USPS Priority Mail)
