Just recently local historian and writer Bob Wyckoff wrote about the old
County Hospital in The Union, or is still working on the story. Try the
site TheUnion.com and see if they have the article on-line. If not, write
to the Doris Foley Library at 211 N. Pine St. Nevada City, CA 95959 and ask
for a copy. Cost for copies and postage. Also the County of Nevada is
currently looking at that builiding and considering tearing it down. They
have been in the Foley looking at the history.
