I am the Grandaughter of Thelma Belle Reynolds of Nevada City. She was born in 1918 & died 1973. Thelma was married to Orris Holton, who died at a young age. They had a daughter, Oline Holton (My mother).Her second marriage was to Earl James. The children from Earl & Thelma: Joanne & Mervyn. Thelma's mother was Mamie Adelaide Marshall who was married to William Thomas Reynolds. He was a contractor in Nevada City and did a lot of building there. He had a shop in town. They had several siblings: Dalbert, Dahlmere, Marshall, Thomas, Thelma & Manford Reynolds. They were all baptized at Trinity Episcopal Church in Nevada City. Thelma lived on Main street next to the historical fire station. Thelma's Aunt, Minerva(Min) Reynolds was married to Joe V.Snyder who owned the Morning Union Newspaper in Nevada City. I am new at this Researching and if anyone can give me some helpful suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Karen Rosser.
