My ancestors came to Olive, CA (now north Orange) between 1910-1918. The
David and Mary (BOEHNER) PAULUS family arrived first about 1910. Then the
Herman and George BOEHNER families arrived shortly thereafter in or about
1918 according to my records. Herman and George BOEHNER were sons of George
BOEHNER Sr., brother to Mary (BOEHNER) PAULUS. All of these families were
early members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in that community. I would love
to receive any recollections early pioneers of Olive might have of any of
these 3 families or their direct descendants. Thanks!

FIRST GENERATION

1. Marie A. BOEHNER was born on April 12, 1848 in Port Washington, Ozaukee
Co., WI. She died on May 16, 1916 in Olive, Orange Co., CA. She was buried
in St. John's Luth. Cem., Santa Ana, Orange Co., CA.

She was married to David PAULUS (son of Jean "Christoph" PAULUS and Maria
"Katharina" HOELTZ) on September 8, 1872 in Random Lake, Sheboygan Co., WI.
David PAULUS was born on December 19, 1847 in Germantown, Washington Co., WI.
He died on December 9, 1919 in Anaheim Ranch, Orange Co., CA. He was buried
in St. John's Luth. Cem., Santa Ana, Orange Co., CA. Marie A. BOEHNER and
David PAULUS had the following children:

+2 i. Catherina "Katie" M. PAULUS (born on August 9, 1873). Married
Frederick MEIER.
+3 ii. Robert Heinrich PAULUS (born on May 10, 1875).
4 iii. Henry David PAULUS was born on April 23, 1879 in , WI. He
died on April 21, 1906. He was buried in Creston Cemetery, Creston, San Luis
Obispo Co., CA.
+5 iv. William "Will" Edward PAULUS (born on October 12, 1881).
+6 v. Emma Maria PAULUS (born on August 9, 1890). Married Robert LEMKE.

1. Georg BOEHNER Sr. was born on April 8, 1854 in Saukville, Ozaukee Co.,
WI. He died on June 2, 1920 in Olive, Orange Co., CA. He was buried on June
5, 1920 in St. John's Luth. Cem., Santa Ana, Orange Co., CA.

He was married to Catharine Eva LAUBENSTEIN (daughter of Jacob LAUBENSTEIN
and Margaretha STOHR) on December 10, 1877 in Saukville, Ozaukee Co., WI.
Catharine Eva LAUBENSTEIN was born on May 3, 1853 in Saukville, Ozaukee Co.,
WI. She died on April 25, 1909 in Linne, San Luis Obispo Co., CA. She was
buried on April 26, 1909 in Creston, San Luis Obispo Co., CA. Georg BOEHNER
Sr. and Catharine Eva LAUBENSTEIN had the following children:

+2 i. Herman George BOEHNER (born on July 8, 1880).
+3 ii. George Carl BOEHNER (born on March 1, 1883).
4 iii. August Heinrich Leonhard BOEHNER was born on June 28, 1886 in
Sherman Center, Sheboygan Co., WI. He was christened on July 18, 1886 in
Sherman Center, Sheboygan Co., WI. He died on December 1, 1887 in Creston,
San Luis Obispo Co., CA. He was buried in Creston Cemetery, Creston, San
Luis Obispo Co., CA.
5 iv. Robert Edward BOEHNER was born on November 1, 1890 in Linne, San
Luis Obispo Co., CA. He was christened on November 23, 1890 at home. He
died on June 11, 1957 in Orange, Orange Co., CA. He was buried in Ft.
Rosecrans National Cem., San Diego, San Diego Co., CA.
6 v. Frida Katharina BOEHNER was born on March 1, 1892 in Linne, San
Luis Obispo Co., CA. She was christened on April 3, 1892 in Linne, San Luis
Obispo Co., CA. She died on January 13, 1907 in Linne, San Luis Obispo Co.,
CA. She was buried on January 16, 1907 in Creston Cemetery, Creston, San
Luis Obispo Co., CA.
