Hello Betty,

Try searching the CDI for your family members. There are quite a few Kings listed and I cannot distinguish your family members from the individuals listed because you provided no year or place of birth. http://www.vitalsearch-ca.com/gen/ca/_vitals/cadeygen.htm

The 1920 & 1930 US Federal Census are now indexed and available by an Ancestry.com subcription that is a worthwhile genealogy research tool. A search for Wm and family may give you this unknown uncle's first name, age, and place of birth; this will help your search. His two sisters probably were married and finding a connection to them will be hard if you don't know their married names.

A post of this kind may be more effective on the King message board. Because anyone researching the King surname would search there first. Hint: When posting a message fill in the “Surname” field. This makes searching family groups easier and produces more effective search hits.

Feeling, California? Never heard of it, but if you know the county it is supposed to be located contact a local library for assistance. They should be in possession of local maps and directories for various years.

Good Luck,
Charles
