Less than 50% of those that die in Orange County have a death notice or obituary published. And to have one with all of the information you seek is very rare in this county, but don't give up maybe you'll get lucky.

You can order a copy of his death certificate from the Orange County Clerk/Recorders office for $13. It should list his parents, spouse, last residence, informant, funeral director, etc. The funeral director can be contacted to verify publication of a funeral notice or obituary and which newspaper it was published.
