Hello Connie,

Two sources which might be of help in your search is the Scots Origins which
is the Scottish Registry office in Scotland and the Delmarva site up in
Delaware and Maryland which covers that area. The latter being a long shot
for you, however, if my mind serves me correctily, there is considerable
history concerning this Surname in that area. Might be worth a look? Here
