Hi Chris,
Do you have a Murdoch Bain (married Nancy Sinclair, Robeson Co., NC, March 25, 1823)? He also sold land which he had purchased from J.S. Rodo/Rodes to John Sinclair in Robeson on October 26, 1834.

Anything sound familiar? I'd really appreciate hearing from you if so,
