Thank you for your post! I think the cemetary is in the shiloh church yard and he was in his majesty's service maybe (KING GEORGE)? Im not sure but i will keep looking.thank you again

Hi I'm new to this list. I am doing research on the King family. Duncan King was a Privateer for the British in the 1700's. He settled in Brunswick County, North Carolina where he married Lydia Fosque.
Any information is welcomed and I have some to share as well.

Hi,

I remember seeing a King [I believe it was Duncan] in an old cemetery about
40 miles from where I live. I have relatives buried in the same cemetery.
It stuck out to me because it said [I believe] H. M. S. or His/Her
Magesty's Service. This was in a churchyard over in Columbus County.
