Hi! I am descended from a John Carey b /10/1825,who married Sarah Utter.b
5/17/1839, on 10/14/1854. She died 10/01/1909. They had a farm in Boone
co., Iowa.
Their children were:
Rebecca Louise b5/17/1863
Sydney P. b 11/11/1857
Theodore b 10/9/1860
Andrew b 10/04/18855
Mary E b5/4/1866
Carrie D b 11/5/1868
John P b 2/10/1872
Ernest Quincy b 1/1/1875
Effie b 4/5/1880
Raymond b 11/28/1890
The above birth dates seem over a very long period of time. Maybe Effie and
Raymond are of another generation. I have pictures and some contacts with
other decendents of this family. I simply have not sorted out all of the
material that I have. Rebecca is my Great grandmother. She married Harrison
Stoker and Lyman Palmer; lived in Perry, Iowa and died there on Willis Ave.
She was quite active in the Disciples of Christ Church there. I went to her
funeral in 1941.at that church.
