They had several pottery works I think the Anchor works are still there but not sure :)
As far as they go I can't get back any further than John Carey b 1768 Staffs m 1791 Staffs d 1828 Cork Ireland burried in Staffs 1828

Sorry to be a nosey parker, but the Carey's that had th Earthenware ,China
and Glass business in Staffs, Is it still there ? and which Carey's are or
were they from?
