I am looking for further info on Archibald Augustus DINZEY who lived on
the island of St. Thomas, Danish West Indies (now the US Virgin Islands).
He was born ca. 1857 or 1858 (either on St. Thomas or possibly Tortola,
British Virgin Islands) Religion: Dutch reformed, but apparently
attended Lutheran Ch. and had all children baptized there. Occupation:
Master Tailor. Died ca. 1912. Also want info on his parents or others of
same surname in the caribbean, mainly in the Virgin Islands and Dominican
Republic. It is my understanding that a Neville Adney from Leiden,
Netherlands was doing a genealogy on the Dinzeys of the West Indies. If
anyone has info on him or his work I'd be interested.

I am interested in corresponding with anyone doing genealogy research on
Danish West Indies/ Virgin Islands. I'm willing to share info, sources,
etc. I have an extensive Biblio for Virgin Islands history, culture,
etc. Doing research on surnames BERETTA, DINZEY, MARTES, MACBEAN from
St. Thomas.
