Hi Folks;

As I read the messages in this group, I was wondering if anyone else had
considered the following as a means of getting some references and follow
up information.

When I first started researching Antigua, I was found it extremely hard
to obtain information. I then obtained the addresses of the
consuls/embassies in the U.K., the U.S.A. and a couple of other countries
and wrote to them with a request for information on Antigua and any help
with references regarding the history and archival sources for the
country.

Surprisingly I received replies from all to whom I wrote and picked up a
number of excellent references and information (brochures on Antigua)
along with some great contacts within the embassies. To a degree they
opened a few doors to me for getting material that were initially closed.

So I thought this might be a starting point for some of you. If anyone
is interested in the addresses for Antigua I can supply these. Just drop
me a line.
